A New State
We broke from the rest stop lunch and sailed down I10. It was this part of the trip when the discussions really got deep. We covered various issues of law, Porsche engines and effectively handling the FAA when you violate class B airspace.

After what seemed like hours driving across the West Texas dessert, we came near some Customs Officers on the roadside. It was this time when Kelley shouted out that there were some train cars plastered with graffiti I quickly jumped up and snapped several shots. Jason noted that the Customs Officers were watching closely at my antics with head-turning focus as we passed by.
As we were coming into El Paso we noticed an interesting sign. Perhaps a trend?
So many questions-can we have a fire? Is there a tent area? What about showers?
In typical style Jason took it all in stride.
With a 20 minute delay from the Traffic we made it into New Mexico just before sundown. Jason and Rod opened up one of the bays to get some water. To our surprise, Mr. Bill, Candy the horse and Mr. Dragonfly ran out. They had been trapped below. Perhaps they had leaped out of Audrey's pocket?
Anyway they are very fast. Jason and Rod called out to catch them. I could not. They ran to the rest area. There Mr. Bill called out and they all three got into a lot of mischief.
First they jumped onto the alien space craft model, then as I got closer...

Deeper into El Paso, it was all brake lights for several miles.

they ran to the fountain. Oh no Mr. Bill. There is a sign, we can't do this. Get down.
I grabbed them up in my pocket. Then I noticed two signs.
One for the Butterfield Trail. This is the same Butterfield Trail that connects to Bridgeport.
Then there was a sign for the King;s Highway-since we started at Paradise, it seems fitting.
All are back on the bus, just got waved though another Customs check just past Las Cruces, NM, next stop is Deming. Listening to Jason's mix of Mary McDonald singing. The current song is "Great is Thy Faithfulness".
We expect to get near Tuscon AZ and find a truck stop to park for a few hours of rest. Amazing time, we miss you all but continue to press on.
